The meal

The Domaine de la Commanderie nestled in the heart of the Beaujolais region, on granite hillsides that make the most of beneficial sunshine, just a stone's throw from Mont Brouilly.

The estate’s 1.5 hectares are managed manually, on steep slopes, where the Gamay varietal expresses all its generosity through vines ranging in age from 20 to over 90 years old. 


Based on the strength of our convictions, as independent winegrowers, we are committed to a substantial environmental approach and have received the Terra Vitis label.


At our estate, you’ll get the chance to taste nicely-structured, ruby red wines with crimson hues, an intense nose and red fruit aromas, and for the 2020 event, you’ll have the pleasure of discovering our brand-new cuvée “l’Écrin” produced from white Chardonnay grapes grown on a little hillside plot in a lush green setting where biodiversity reigns. In short, wines full of charm.



Speaking of Bienvenue en Beaujonomie, here’s what’s in store for you:

- A warm welcome in the heart of the Beaujolais region, overlooking our wonderful village of Le Perréon.

- A casual apéritif in the middle of the vineyards with Marc, the winegrower-owner, who will share his passion with you and introduce you to all the facets of the profession in the vineyards, followed by a tasting of the estate’s different wines.

- A menu designed especially for you with the distinctive feature of each dish being crafted with the estate’s wines – enough to surprise your taste buds and delight your senses.

Passionate about food since his childhood, Nicolas has been working as a chef in the Lyon region for over 20 years. 

He's an inventive chef, who enjoys combining classic and modern cuisines, plus creating a feast for the eyes.
