Estate tour

The meal

The Château Portier, enclosed by walls, with its Burgundian towers with glazed tiles, is built next to the famous Windmill, a historic monument of the 15th century, which later became one of the emblems of Beaujolais. Denis and Danielle and their daughter Pauline Chastel-Sauzet, owners and winegrowers will guide you with passion through stones, history and the senses, and will make you taste the estate's wines. To whet your appetite, Denis will invite you to visit the vaulted cellars dating from the 17th century at Château Portier. Then, your hosts will welcome you in the courtyard of the Château and will offer you a convivial aperitif served in the garden facing the Windmill and the gloriettes of the Château. The aperitif will be followed by a winegrower's lunch that Danielle will have been keen to simmer for you with four hands with Pauline, whose delicious dishes will delight all the guests of the Château!
